Romantic Beach Engagement Photos in Seattle
Maddie and Troy are seriously one of those couples you *click* with right away. When they told me they wanted classic beach engagement photos, I knew we had to hit up Discovery Park in Seattle. Seattle isn't just all coffee shops and rain—some really beautiful spots are tucked away, and this park is one of my faves. There are some fun bluffs and a lighthouse, but we stuck to the beach (no dramatic cliff climbs today) and started near the lighthouse for some romantic, timeless shots they were after.

We kicked off the session at the lighthouse, and it’s as adorable as it sounds. Picture a white lighthouse with a brick-red roof and a cute little green door—a Pinterest engagement location brought to life! As the sun started to dip, we snagged some super casual, cute shots that captured Maddie and Troy’s vibe. Discovery Park isn’t just a pretty face. It’s got everything from sandy beaches to forested trails and tall grasses begging for adventure. If you’re looking for a place with a little bit of everything, this park is the way to go.

This gorgeous summer evening brought the golden hour magic as we strolled along the beach. Maddie wore a silky cream dress, looking like a total beach goddess while we popped some champagne and giggled like kids. Betcha didn't think engagement shoots could be this fun. We were running through the waves and capturing all the moments. And the giant pieces of driftwood are my favorite to get some shots on! We shot until the sun nearly disappeared. I had so much fun hanging out with these two!
