Studio Family Photoshoot at Aqui Seattle

Capturing those sweet, cozy family moments without the stress of chasing good weather or perfect lighting can be a reality with a studio family photoshoot—precisely, at the stylish Aqui Seattle. Kayla and Apton found me on Instagram, and we had the most fun studio family session with just the right amount of edgy vibes. The studio itself is a total dream. Minimalist, modern, and all those clean lines make my photographer heart so happy. Huge windows let in that soft, natural light (no harsh shadows, yay!), and the neutral tones keep everything calm and chic. Plus, the space is super versatile, with props and furniture that add just the right touch of personality to the shoot. I truly love having a blank canvas.

Studio Family Photoshoot Ideas

Let's be honest—getting the whole family together for photos can feel like trying to herd cats. But the magic happens once you're all in the studio! Studio family photoshoots give us the perfect chance to get creative without worrying about the weather doing a total 180 on us (hello, Seattle rain). We can use creative props, clean backgrounds, and lighting that makes everyone look their best—yes, even when your toddler decides to skip naptime. I'm a mom; I get it. We can do cozy group shots or get playful with silly poses that'll make everyone laugh. I want to help you capture those real moments in a space where you can relax and have fun. You'll walk away with some killer photos and a pretty good time, too!

You’re going to love these Washington in-home family photos!

Clean & Creamy Studio Vibes

This session was such a dream—the definition of simple yet so chic. Kayla and Apton brought their baby girl, and they came dressed in neutral-toned outfits that were totally in sync with the minimalist vibe of the studio. You seriously cannot go wrong with cream-colored fits, especially when they look this good. We kept the setup minimal—used a couple of chairs and a white wooden staircase as props, nothing too crazy. The focus stayed on them and the start of their family. The shots by the window are some of my favorites—hello, natural light! It gave the whole space such a soft, dreamy glow. Less is more, and this was simple, classy, and totally them.
