Editorial Style Wedding Photography at The Manor House at Pleasant Beach
Brittany and McNeil's wedding day at The Manor House at Pleasant Beach was classic and cozy, tucked away in the Pacific Northwest. It was the perfect mix of elegance and warmth, with a moody fall sky and a wedding full of personality and good vibes. Brittany found me a little while back when I photographed her friend's wedding in Cabo (yes, I'm always there). After chatting about her vision, I was so excited to capture some true editorial-style wedding photography.
If you've ever been to The Manor House at Pleasant Beach, you know it's like stepping into a storybook. It's charming and has a classic architecture with little nooks. Add the soft, overcast light that only a classic PNW fall day can deliver, and you've got a photographer's dream backdrop.
This Washington wedding venue set the perfect tone for Brittany and McNeil's day; everything fit their day like a glove.
The Details, Florals, & Fashion
First, let’s give a shout-out to Walter, their precious dachshund, who may not have been walking down the aisle but definitely made his presence known. From adorable illustrations of him balancing a champagne tower on the stationery to other playful nods sprinkled throughout the decor, it was clear Walter holds a VIP spot in their hearts.
The florist absolutely crushed it. The lush hydrangeas, calla lilies, and mix of greenery matched The Manor House's dreamy vibe. And I can't forget to mention the sweetheart table with the tomato vines woven into the decor. It was unexpected and so fun and whimsical!
Brittany brought the fashion drama—and I mean that in the best way. She rocked a high-neck, lace masterpiece for her ceremony dress. And just when you think it couldn’t get better—she changed into her reception look: a sparkling, fitted gown that looked incredible.
Embracing the Gloom at The Manor House at Pleasant Beach
Cloudy weather is more of a lifestyle in the PNW, and Brittany and McNeil’s wedding day was no exception. The overcast skies were honestly perfect for creating those dreamy, editorial-style photos.
With a lively crew of Washington State University fans in attendance, you already know this wouldn’t be your average reception. The WSU crew turned the evening into a celebration no one would forget.
