Rylan and Austin's wedding in Cabo was an absolute blast from start to finish! These two lovebirds tied the knot at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Resort, and let me tell you, their big day had all the makings of an epic party. From the moment guests arrived, the energy was electric - think toes-in-the-sand cocktails and a dance floor that stayed packed until LATE. Rylan and Austin exchanged vows against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean and then proceeded to celebrate like there was no tomorrow. This wedding truly captured the spirit of Cabo - laid-back, vibrant, and overflowing with love.

Rylan is a photographer based in Kansas, and she found me through Instagram. I was so excited when she asked me to capture their big day because it's always an honor when a fellow photographer chooses you. Anyway, Cabo is already such a gorgeous place, so you really don’t need to do a lot to make your wedding beautiful. But I was obsessed with their elegant decor and table settings - the perfect blend—like luxe desert.

These two have a huge group of friends, so their wedding party was massive, and they knew how to get down. The dance floor was packed all night, and the energy was a dream. It was one of those weddings where you could feel the love and joy radiating through every. single. person.

Wedding Photos on Film

There was a film photography aspect of Rylan and Austin's Cabo wedding (yay!). I know film photography isn't as common these days, although it is being requested more, but there's just something so special about that analog look and feel. The way the light hits the film, the subtle grain, the rich colors - it all comes together to create these timeless, dreamy images that digital just can't quite replicate.

I loved busting out my trusty film cameras and getting creative with the shots. Rylan and Austin were totally on board, and the results speak for themselves. Film is so romantic and intimate. It allows you to slow down, be more intentional with your compositions, and capture the genuine emotions of the day. Film photography may be a bit of a lost art these days, but IMO, it's the perfect way to immortalize a wedding as magical as this one.

Rylan and Austin are such a fun, vibrant couple. Their wedding day truly reflected that. I left Cabo feeling inspired and grateful to be a part of it all. Trust me, this was a wedding for the books!
