Capturing precious family memories is one of the things I do best, but I credit my abilities to having a family of my own. I just get it! These recent Seattle family photos of the Hardenburg family are a perfect example! The Hardenburgs brought their infectious energy and genuine connection to the session, resulting in a beautiful photo collection that showcases the love and intimate moments that define their family. Held at the stunning Humano Studios, this session was part of my Sunday Blues event. I only offer mini-events a couple of times a year, so keep an eye out on my Instagram for details on those!

The Studio Deets

Humano Studio is a pretty neat collection of spaces available to rent hourly or daily. They are all-natural light studios, but for this specific shoot, we used Studio 7. It features white concrete floors and flat white walls. The soft light floods in all day from the south and east-facing windows. This gives you a clean slate to work with during sessions and allows you to add what feels right. I love shooting in a studio, especially a clean white studio with no distractions. It gives an editorial feel.

The Hardenburg’s Seattle Family Photos

Forget the stiff poses – this session was about capturing their natural energy, like a Calvin Klein denim ad (that was the theme!). I always strive for more of a lifestyle family session where the kids can be kids, relieving some of that photoshoot stress you probably built up inside over the last week. I've been shooting Bridget and her family for years, a couple of times a year, so they're practically family at this point. This session was all about those real moments, the giggles, the genuine connections – the good stuff that makes them who they are. Booking your family sesh with me means cute kiddo action and seriously relaxed family vibes!
