Arizona Wedding Venue with a View | El Chorro

I feel like I'm always raving about the most breathtaking wedding venues in Arizona because there are genuinely some beautiful spots there. Well, here I go again—El Chorro stands in the heart of Paradise Valley, AZ. It’s a true oasis, with lush gardens, towering palm trees, and the Camelback Mountain as the backdrop.

Warm adobe architecture and the sound of trickling fountains greet you from the moment you arrive. The hacienda-style buildings are so charming, and the outdoor spaces are beautiful. Twinkling lights drape over the reception area, surrounded by this vibrant climbing plant called bougainvillea. See more of Kelly and Ryan’s wedding day below for the whole experience, and if you feel called to have your wedding day here…let’s freaking talk!

Scenic Beauty & Historic Charm

If you’re looking for an Arizona wedding venue with a view, El Chorro is surrounded by stunning red mountain scenery. Camelback Mountain makes you feel like you've been transported to another world. But it's just minutes from Scottsdale, so it has that perfect balance of scenic beauty and convenience.

This venue has been around since the 1930s when it started as a casual inn and ranch. But over the decades, it evolved into one of the most sought-after wedding venues in the Valley. The original buildings were designed with gorgeous hacienda-style adobe architecture, giving them so much rustic charm and character. The historic buildings have so much personality with their exposed beams and cozy fireplaces. This is prime photo-op territory!

Ceremony & Reception Spaces

Let's start with the outdoor ceremony sites! You have the Herb Garden, South Lawn, or the Event Lawn. Kelly and Ryan had their ceremony in the Herb Garden. It was so beautiful! You have climbing plants going up the white stone wall and a lot of that warm Spanish-style architecture. The Event Lawn has an incredible view of Camelback Mountain and is perfect for a larger ceremony.

As for receptions, you can go big with the stunning Casa Paloma, their event pavilion with all the modern amenities while capturing that rustic adobe flair. Or keep things intimate with a courtyard draped in twinkling lights. This would be similar to Kelly and Ryan’s wedding, where their reception occurred on the Bocce Lawn. The layout options are endless - you can have a smaller soiree or go all out with a massive bash since some spaces accommodate over 200 guests.

No matter which spaces you choose, you'll soak in the iconic Camelback views and desert atmosphere that make El Chorro so unique. This place has personality!

Okay, let's talk about amenities and services at El Chorro.

First up, the catering is excellent, and they do not disappoint! Their culinary team whips up the most incredible Southwestern-inspired menus using fresh, local ingredients. We’re talking about mouthwatering dishes like chipotle-rubbed beef tenderloin, fire-roasted corn, black bean salsa, and tres leches cake that'll have your guests raving. There are various menu options, so you’re not locked into one plate.

As if you need more than that, El Chorro provides all the amenities to prepare you and your crew for the big day in style. The bridal suite is gorgeous, with perfect set-ups for hair, makeup, and pre-ceremony photos. They've also got a groom's room decked out for the guys. And your guests can even book rooms right on-site for the ultimate convenience!

Honestly, though, the ambiance sets this Arizona wedding venue apart. The lush desert gardens, historic buildings, and sweeping Camelback views create an unforgettable setting.
